This Paradise Loft Radio show has been brought to you by me, OLMOS which is the name i produce under. This is a mix of Garage House and Disco Boogie joints sure to give your speakers a wake up. BOB JAMES PARADISE LOFT RADIO TRIBUTE SHOW

This show we have decided to dedicate to the amazing man of the groove, Bob James. Everyone has heard some of Bob's music whether they know it or not. With so many of his compositions being the pillars of early and modern day Hip Hop production. The two songs that jump out for me are the moody groove, Nautilus and the unrelenting intro from Take Me To The Mardi Gras. 

A true Jazz man that found a way to keep the untamed element of Jazz while still being able to add a repeating groove in there somewhere that kept your toe tapping at the very least. So many of his songs are journeys that will take you on twists and turns but somehow always find a path leading back to this underlying groove that you can ride for the whole song.

This week we have the pleasure of Lewis Alexander's company in the studio. My brother from the same mother, recently back from New York City with a record bag full of NYC delights. Good to have you home Player!

Excuse the break between the shows. I have found myself dedicating my spare time to getting an up coming release finalised. In addition, the first song in the edition of PLR is a little Rework done by myself, OLMOS on the classic Phreek groove, May My Love Be With You. I am cautious of edits because i generally find that the original was intended to sound the way it was initally recorded. In the case of this tune I would always play it when djing and it seemed to always end much sooner than I felt it should. No disrespect Mr Adams, it's a perfect tune i just drew out its perfection a little longer.
